My What a Long, Strange Trip it's Been....

Sometimes you go on a journey or passage through life and it seems like an eternity yet happened within the blink of an eye. Time is certainly a funny thing. It's like we are constantly just evolving in little wrinkles in time and they unfold and you just keep going with it. Lately I feel as though I am a child experiencing life for the first time. Everything is new, fresh, I feel pretty raw and open. There are many changes on the way and occuring even right this second however, I am really just keeping my feet planted on this moment, right here, right now. There is a bigger force at work here and I am focusing my energy on that and not all the 'stuff'. I think the 'stuff' is just kinda there to see how bad we want it. I want it. I am going all the way and feel totally supported and guided. At the same time I feel every other emotion in the book, but this is what it makes it worth the ride. If there was no color along the way it wouldn't be too interesting. Breathe, Pause, Be thankful, Connect, Pour my heart into every moment...all the other details will take care of themselves.

Peace-

I consider myself a very spiritual person, but not bound to any one specific belief system. It is with my art that I try to share my own exploration of world religion, mythology, and metaphysics. I hope that my artwork inspires others to travel, learn, and discover the many cultures, people and spiritual belief systems in this beautiful world in which we live. You may discover we’re all more alike than different in every way.”

The Lotus

The Lotus flower symbolizes purity, generation, and ultimately divine birth. According to the Lalitavistara, 'the spirit of the best of men is spotless, like the new lotus in the [muddy] water which does not adhere to it'. In Esoteric Buddhism, the heart of the beings is like an unopened lotus: when the virtues of the Buddha develop, the lotus blossoms. This is the reason why the Buddha sits on the Lotus blossom. The Lotus symbolizes the Feminine Principle in Tantra. They are often viewed as metaphors for the development of the individual being towards enlightenment. The Lotus flower stands for the pure aspiration and ascension that is the desire for enlightenment for the sake of others.

In Chinese Herbal Medicine we use the Lotus Flower and it's many parts rather often. Most of it's functions directly relate to the Heart. I find this fascinating how the dots are connected. The Heart leading back to Love and essentially giving birth to creation.

The Secret

The secret of Attraction is to LOVE yourself. Attractive people neither judge themselves or others. They are open to the gestures of LOVE. They think about LOVE and express their LOVE in every action. They know that LOVE is not a mere sentiment but the ultimate TRUTH at the heart of the universe.
~ Deepak Chopra

1/11/11=

ASCENSION, EVOLUTION, EXPANSION, HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS, AWAKENING, LOVE, LIGHT, CONNECTION, INFINITY, BLISS, FREEDOM

The Number 11 coincides with INTUITION. The repeating of 11's on today's date may be demonstrating to us that it's time to start tapping deeper into our own intuitions. To trust that voice within us that ultimately connects us to the vastness that surrounds us. When we turn inward we in turn unfold outwardly, ascending, expanding, and evolving. Higher grounds, levels of being and vibrations will set forth.

I am in no way a numerologist, however, I do find it fascinating...and it is just fun to connect the dots.

Enjoy your infinite day of radiant love, bliss and eternal possibilities!

The Gateway and the Container

Ojas is a Sanskrit word which literally means "vigor".Ojas also means light. According to Ayurvedic Medicine, it is the essential energy of the body which can be equated with the "fluid of life". It is related to WATER and EARTH elements or the nectar that moisturizes these elements.

Ojas is both the gateway and the container. It is the gateway between pure consciousness and the physical, between spiritual and material. It connects the body with the spirit. In it's subtlest form, it contains vital life force or energy, Prana- Qi in Chinese Medicine.

Ojas maintains contentment, luster, strength, and health. It is the main factor responsible for immunity.

Foods to raise and support Ojas include: spirulina, coconut oil, bee pollen

VIBRATIONS in CoConut Oil

Coconut oil holds the vibration of Stewardship. This vibration is a state of being where the individual is essentially supporting the whole universe with everything that one does. This individual vibration in turn feeds the larger vibration which propels the vast ascension of the whole which we are all connected to. Coconut oil enhances the ascending in learning to be good stewards of earth.

Nature: Active
Symbols: Magnitude, Truth, Dream

Just a thought....

When we embrace who we are...there is no more struggle. When we are constantly trying to fit a mold of something or someone we are not, tension arises...we are no longer tuning into the essence of our true nature. There is no one to beat, nothing to prove, no score to keep track of. Just simply be the being you are and just hang on for the ride. It's fun, I promise!

LOVE is the GREATest InSPIRation

LOVE IS THE GREATEST INSPIRATION DESPITE WHAT IT COSTS, LEARN TO SACRIFICE TEMPTATION AND COPE WITH THE LOSS, BECAUSE EVERYTHING THAT'S BEEN TAUGHT AND ALL THE FIGHTS WE'VE FOUGHT, TO ACHIEVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PEACE WE SOUGHT, BUT OFF IN SOME DISTANT LAND, I HOPE EXISTENCE IS TRUE, DON'T LOOK TO ME FOR A HAND BECAUSE IT'S ALL UP TO YOU, EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN THROUGH, IT ALWAYS CARRIES A LESSON, BUT IN THE END, I HOPE HAPPINESS IS IN OUR POSSESSION....

That's a Rap!

WOW!!!!

What an amazing year 2010 was! I've been hearing some say that it was a brutal one...I just cant relate to that at all. I have to say it was the best of my life thus far. At the same time I did have some dark spots and rough patches weaved in, I spent a lot of time being uncomfortable in many ways, I just kept going and found some comfort in these areas that I had maybe avoided previously. I actually have an appreciation for all the years passed, they are all integral in their own right and have carried some depth and weight absolutely, however this past year was pretty monumental. I guess in essence I just feel really alive. I did a tremendous amount of work within myself this year and as a result I have stripped many unwarranted or unnecessary layers. Amen! I am simply grateful to be in the position to realize I can and have the power and choice to do these self-interventions and be an active participant in my experience here. Freedom is the best!

One of the greatest things I have experienced this year has really been letting go of 'what things should look like'...this is a simplified description of the process but basically I have been truly tapping into my inner-being more and more and listening to myself more and more...on all levels. As a result everything in my life has just seemed to effortlessly take flight.

In all honesty this has been years of work coming into fruition and harmony...as you know this process never really does stop...just feeling present and really awakening to life in all it's beauty keeps me going. It never feels like work, the rewards are so great...it's almost like I feel like a child experiencing life for the first time and everything is new, fresh, exciting, there is no judgement, no punishment, no restriction....Life is full, blossoming, abundant, lively, spicy, and new each and everyday...

So long 2010 and Hello 2011! It's going to be a marvelous one, I can feel it.
